Neurological Rehabilitation
The aim of neurological rehabilitation, much like regular rehabilitation, is correct movement. Often the core muscles are inhibited, leading to poor balance and co-ordination. We work on all of these important areas to help improve your function.
Physiotherapists can work with many different people at different ages and stages of life.
- Neurological impairment
- Brain and spinal cord injuries
- Parkinson’s disease
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Motor neurone disease
- Muscular dystrophy
- Stroke
- Bells Palsy
- Ankylosing spondylitis
Although some neurological diseases may be considered degenerative, physiotherapy intervention in the form of training and exercise can improve or maintain function and enhance quality of life, particularly by preventing falls, maintaining independence, health and fitness.
All of our physiotherapists can help if you suffer from any of the above.
